Newsflash

I come to you with great excitement over what God is doing here at Calvary. New beginnings will mark this Sunday (4/15/12) as we have a new Adult Bible School class, a new sermon series, and a new fiscal year for the church. I am preparing my annual report and am encouraged with our corporate testimony from the year that was. There is no doubt that God is working among us!

In light of the new series that will be starting, I wanted to highlight them so that you can be ready and prepared for what's coming. Rachel and I will be team teaching the mixed adult bible school class. We will be using material from Peacemaker Ministries entitled Resolving Everyday Conflict. It is a powerful series that will challenge your thinking and a great follow-up to our series in Philemon. This is not a couple's class, but a class that will help anyone who engages in relationships, which is everyone. Please plan on being there. In addition, I am asking that you try to be at the church by 9:05 so that we can have plenty of time for the class. The beginning is very important for the later discussion.

We will also be starting a series in the Gospel of Mark on Sunday morning. I am looking forward to gleaning spiritual blessings and challenges from the life of Jesus Christ. This series promises to be a powerful one as we look closely at our Lord. Please be in prayer over what God has for all of us throughout this study!
